I’m Keaton Punch! I'm an artist and cinematographer who creates magically charming work that makes people smile. My playful photos and videos have been surprising and bringing joy to people for over thirteen years.

I love getting creative with my projects, crafting custom details, and experimenting with special effects. I'm always looking for new ways to challenge my skills, and uplift others in the process.

Professionalism

I’m always striving for professionalism and bringing the highest quality to my work. I’ve been learning and teaching myself for over a decade about operating cameras, lighting, editing, directing, organizing, and much more.

I’m proud of where I am now, and it’s exciting to know my skills are still growing each year. I can’t wait to see what creative challenges are up next for me.

Experimentation

In between big projects, I like to experiment with with fun and creative ideas. These are great challenges for me to practice thinking outside the box, while learning new ways to edit together magical effects.

DIY Productions

I’m huge into DIY productions, in utilizing spaces and resources we already have in or around our own homes. I couldn’t be more proud of the many pop-up studio projects in small rooms and unexpected locations, with the end result looking incredibly high quality.

You have control over what you want showing in frame. What matters most is what you capture in camera and how you edit that work afterwards.

Cinematographer of the Year

Making music videos with my friends has been one of my favorite creative outlets since my first music video in 2015. The Bakersfield Music Awards recognized my work and awarded me “Cinematographer of the Year” in the 2023 BMAs.

Props and Costumes

One way I make my projects stand out is through custom props and costume design. I enjoy upcycling materials and crafting pieces myself to help bring ideas to life. It’s a super effective way to add production value and personality to any project!
