I'm such a fan of themed parties, and always make an effort to dress up for the fun of it! Once I found out I was invited to my friend 's Animal Crossing themed birthday party, I knew I had to dress up like Isabelle. Especially now that I have my platinum blonde hair!

I wanted to challenge myself this time and try sewing together part of my outfit, so I had my friend Blanca guide me and teach me how to use her sewing machine!
I got lucky and found the perfect flannel fabric at the store, and used an old green sweater of mine for the solid dark green details and fake pockets.
I set up my DIY home studio starting with this large white backdrop in the dining room. From there I placed a background light to give it color, a large softbox for my key light, and a small softbox for some edge light. I also placed some fabric on the ground to extend the backdrop.
I wanted to capture four different poses as my goal for this photoshoot. I experimented with a variety of different poses until I was happy with two full body shots, and two medium shots.
