Natalia Mallory’s The Nutcracker

Natalia reached out to me in hopes of creating a set of magical posters featuring some of her talented dancers. Each poster is greatly inspired by the posters Disney created for their 2018 “Nutcracker and the Four Realms”.

I created five unique posters in 2022, and after an overwhelmingly positive response, I was called back in 2023 to create another set!

We reused the majority of the same backgrounds I originally created, but I did make a brand new background for one poster.

I set up a white backdrop to make it easier in editing for me to replace the background behind each dancer. I used three Nanlite PavoTubes for an even spread of back light. Lastly, I set up my Aputure 300X with a large softbox and white bounce from below to create a soft, flattering key light.
