Squid Game
Sep. 2024
This photo project happened all because I got invited to a friend’s Squid Game themed birthday party.
Already being a fan of the show, I knew I wanted to put together my own custom player costume to wear! This snowballed into me finding the jumpsuits, crafting the Front Man mask, and creating this movie poster styled photo.

I couldn’t find a green and white shirt to use as a base, so I hot glued together my own using the sleeves of a green top and the torso or a white tee.
I chose to paint my own custom number 064 on my shirt in reference to the Nintendo 64, my first ever gaming console.
I hand crafted the entire mask for the Front Man character, using cardstock paper, and tacky glue. The complex template I followed on each paper combined to roughly 120 folds to form the mask!
Creating an abstract scene like this was fun, especially adding all the textures, shapes, and shadows in editing.
